So we're renting a dumpster this weekend. Saturday is going to be the big work day. We're going to tear down the paneling and plaster in the dining room and office, and take the walls in both rooms all the way down to the studs. We'd also like to get the drop ceiling in the kitchen down, and if there's time we'll tackle a few of the ceilings upstairs.
So. If you'd like to come and help, drop me an email: jamailac at gmail dot com. We'll provide beer (or soda, or whatever) and probably pizza if enough people show up. Start time is morning; Don's dad is coming at 8 AM but if you're not an early bird 10 or 11 is fine. I'll give you address and directions in the email.
We'll be working other days, too, so if you can't make it Saturday but really need to get in some therapeutic property destruction, let me know and I'll tell you when we're going to be home and working (most likely Sunday and Tuesday).

I might be able to do something on Tuesday (in terms of smashing stuff), but since it's the Fourth, would there also be some grilled food in addition to beer ... ?
I'd have to check with Don and make sure we're not scheduled to go eat somebody else's grilled food first, but it could probably be arranged.

I still don't know if we have any plans to be changed! Not to mention if hordes of people show up on Saturday (ha!), there won't be any work left to do on Tuesday. Or at least, not dumpster-related work.
That would be complementary, and not "free". There's no such thing as a "free beer", but for home improvement there can be a "beer fee".
This site is one of the best I have ever seen, wish I had one like this.
